Global Water Jobs SL
Global Water Jobs is a website specialized in career development for the water resource management sector. The platform serves as a dynamic information hub that informs users about employment opportunities, education programs, scholarship opportunities, and international events of the sector. All the information is made available for free and discount prices are offered to non-profit organisations in order to give access to this service globally.
Origins and history
editThe company was founded in June 2013 by an international consultant in WASH governance and policy that recognised the need to create a unique source of information for professionals in the water sector.
The efficient, equitable and sustainable development and management of water resources requires a coordinated work between a wide range of disciplines, including engineering, hydrology, geology, biology, chemistry, sociology, law, economics, environmental sciences, policy, planning, natural resource management, public health, agricultural science, governance, humanitarian and development affairs, and others. Therefore, the rationale for creating this website was to reflect the multidisciplinary and cross-sectoral nature of water resource management in the employment market.
