Overview

edit

This template is used for placing a warning about a user's name on their talk page. It must be SUBSTituted or an error will be generated.

It is based on {{uw-username}}, but personalised for one reason (company/organisation name) and without the "Hello and welcome to Wikipedia" intro, along with more details on the reason why this is against policy.

It is intended to be used along with the {{user:phantomsteve/welcome}} template, but works as a stand-alone.

Please note that this template automatically places the user's name in Category:Wikipedia usernames with possible policy issues. (The reason for SUBST-ing this template is so that this category can be removed if required - e.g. indef block - without having to remove the entire template)

Syntax
