As a young kid I have always dreamed of playing college basketball. With this dream I knew that nothing would be easy and I would have to work at it every single day. So I told my family and I knew that I had their full support in what I was trying to do.

I went through all of my younger years being the best player in the league and was actually believing in my goals. But as I got into high school, I moved to a much bigger school and was no longer even close to being the best player. After seeing this I knew that being able to play college basketball was going to take a lot more than what I was doing.

My first year at Gainesville High School (Georgia), I made the team but was not playing too much. So after that season I began to go to the gym everyday to become a much better player. As time went on, my coaches were seeing a change in me and my work was paying off. So my Junior and Senior year I became an all-region player which brought a lot of college attention my way.

I was receiving multiple phone calls after some of my games and realized that my dream was coming true of playing college basketball. So as time went on I waited until I found the right school and Coach Saunders gave me a call so I came up and visited Converse University and I knew that this is where I wanted to be.
