Why did I choose Converse

It was fall of 2020 of my senior year and, I go to school in Northwestern Highschool in Rock Hill I ran track for the school and coming into my senior year I only had a couple interest in a few schools. I reached my coaches and they told me to start talking to some college coaches in the surrounding area.

First school that was interested in me was school near the beach. I talk to my mom and dad about it and they said just weigh your options out the perfect school for you will come. So I do great in school and track season is rolling around. So in the winter after Christmas I visited school in Spartanburg formally known as Converse college now known as Converse University. This guy Brandon Morton is the head track coach at the school. So we set up a meeting where talk about the school and setting up date for me to come visit.

So weeks past and I am getting ready for the season. That weekend I come to Converse. Instantly as I step on campus it felt like home. Coach Morton walks around the campus and, shows off all of the facilities that they have at the school. We take a break and I am talking to my parents and my little brother. My mom mentions how nice the coach is and how she like how the school looks. I tell her that this feels just like home.

Few weeks later I text Coach Morton that I like I want to be apart of the team. He texts be and tells me "That he is so happy and is jumping for joy." Fast forward months later I am starting my first year in college majoring in sports management.
