Philip Rabaey is a Belgian professional known for his commitment to human-centric impact in the corporate world and his outspoken atheism. Born on April 26, 1990, in Tienen, Belgium, Rabaey pursued his education at Vlerick Business School, earning his Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in 2022. His decision to pursue an MBA was driven by his desire to gain a holistic understanding of company operations and to promote human-centric values in contrast to mainstream capitalistic standards.

Before his MBA, Rabaey worked for five years at Allianz Benelux and studied company management at UCLL (University Colleges Leuven-Limburg). During his academic and professional journey, he developed a keen interest in reshaping corporate strategies to prioritise human well-being over profit maximisation.

During his academic tenure, one notable project was his involvement with Streamz, a Belgian streaming service, where he contributed his expertise to enhance user experience and content delivery.

Rabaey's personal beliefs have been shaped by his experiences, including the loss of his mother. This profound event led him to confront existential questions and ultimately embrace atheism. He believes in moving forward without relying on intangible hopes and desires, advocating for a pragmatic approach to life and decision-making.

Despite his atheism, Rabaey respects all belief systems and emphasises the importance of freedom of thought and expression. He believes that religion should remain personal and never be enforced upon others.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Rabaey is passionate about writing fantasy stories, allowing him to explore philosophical concepts such as relativism and envision a world aligned with his values.

Looking to the future, Rabaey is determined to challenge the prevailing notion that money is the ultimate goal of business. He believes true success lies in creating meaningful impact and fostering a society prioritising human well-being over financial gain.
