Hello and Welcome!

[edit]

Welcome! I'm pikadv (Tajbiul Azim) and I'm an casual contributor to the English Wikipedia, based in Kushtia, Bangladesh.

I try to improve the encyclopedia by ensuring articles are accurate and well-sourced, adhering strictly to core policies like Verifiability and Neutrality. My goal is to use my professional and academic experience to make high-quality contributions, particularly in the fields of technology and commerce.

My Contributions and Interests

[edit]

My editing is guided by my background in web development and business:

Technology and Digital Media:
  • I focus on articles related to web programming, including JavaScript, the React framework, HTML/CSS, and other technologies like Firebase.
  • I actively edit content on Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), and Social Media Marketing, drawing from my work experience.
Academic and Professional Background (Brief Summary):
  • Education: Currently pursuing a BBA with a Major in Management at the National University, Bangladesh. I've also completed training in Front-End Web Development and Digital Marketing.
  • Experience: I have worked as a Digital Marketer at CodeCare BD and completed an apprenticeship in Digital Marketing with SETU NGO under the World Bank-supported RAISE program.
Wiki-Work Focus:
  • Sourcing: My main contribution is adding and verifying citations, especially in technology and business articles that lack reliable sources.
  • Quality Control: I help with copyediting, wikifying (formatting), and maintaining a neutral tone across articles.
  • Drafting: I research and develop new article drafts in my user space before submitting them for publication.

Communication and Status

[edit]

I am currently **editing somewhat intermittently** due to commitments outside of Wikipedia.

  • Reach me: The best way to contact me is by leaving a message on my Talk Page. While I may not be able to respond instantly, I monitor this page and will reply as soon as I can.
  • Collaboration: I welcome constructive feedback and invitations to collaborate on related projects.
  • Draft Area: I do most of my work-in-progress editing in my Sandbox.
