Introduction
Balli Kalyanachakravarthy is an Indian politician serving as the Member of Legislative Council, Andhra Pradesh from the YSR Congress Party, representing the SPSR Nellore District.
Balli Kalyanachakravarthy was born in Nellore District on 7 June 1984. He is the son of Balli Durga Prasad Rao (Politician served several times as MLA) and Kalapati Sarala. His father was a Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Gudur constituency for 20 years and then became a Member of Parliament (MP) from Tirupati and also served as a Minister for Primary Education between 1996 and 1998. He completed his primary schooling in ST.Francis Integrated School, Venkatagiri and later on joined Rayalaseema Residential School, Tirupati, to complete his school education . He then earned a bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering, Chennai from Anna University. His uncle, Balli Ravi Chandra is serving as Superintendent of Police, Octopus, Andhra Pradesh.
Personal life
Kalyanachakravarthy married to Dr.Swetha Tanneeru and they have 2 Children. His Wife is currently serving as a Medical Advisor for Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams. Kalyanachakravarthy enjoys playing Cricket, Football, Tennis from the school days, and served as a cricket captain representing his Engineering college.
Political Life
Kalyan unianimously elected as Memeber of Legislative Council, Andhra Pradesh on April 2021. At that time, he was the youngest MLC of Andhra Pradesh. His father became Youngest MLA at the age of 28 years, where Kalyan became Youngest MLC at the age of 36 from Venkatagiri. He is the First MLC of YSR Congress Party from SPSR Nellore District after the Party origin.
