Early PAL Commodore 64 question

Hello Bill,
Your early PAL C64 with board serial "326116" and case serial "WGB2324" has a 5-pin DIN audio/video connector?

Yes, it has a 5-pin A/V port, as all early C64s do. I'm guessing you got my serial number from c64preservation.com? :-) Pixel8 19:21, 22 October 2009 (UTC)

Based on your answer, all 326298 boards (both the NTSC and PAL) are have a 5-pin A/V port. According to the "SERVICE MANUAL MODEL C64 COMPUTER" (PN-314001-02) the 8-pin A/V started from 250407 boards. But the KU-14194HB board assy not mentioned in this manual. It seems the KU-14194HB exist in PAL version only and older than the 250407. Have you ever seen C64 with KU-14194HB board? --Gona.eu (talk) 09:00, 23 October 2009 (UTC)

I think I might have a 1983 C64 with that board type. I will check when I get home. Also that board was used in large picture of an exploded view of a C64 in a british home computing magazine called the Home Computer Course. Pixel8 13:11, 23 October 2009 (UTC)

Amstrad CPC 464 image

Hi Bill, I work at the National Media Museum in Bradford, UK and am currently working on a new gaming gallery. I'm trying to source a hi-res image of an Amstrad CPC464 and wondered if you had your image in higher quality for use within the gallery. Hi Tom, I'm sorry to say I don't have a higher quality / resolution version of that picture. It was a taken with a 4 megapixel digicam, so the quality at 100% is pretty poor. How soon do you need the picture, as I can (if time allows) take a much higher quality picture with a DSLR. -Pixel8 16:10, 23 October 2009 (UTC)
