I am a professional writer and publicist and have been a Wikipedia contributor since 2006. I am passionate about Wikipedia's mission, I thoroughly enjoy contributing to this open encyclopedia and I strive for neutrality in article content. As a general rule I do not take any action on Wikipedia itself for payment. I abide by the Wiki Strategies Statement of Ethics in all Wikipedia-related work, and I have read and understand the Conflict of Interest guidelines.
I voluntarily edit Wikipedia pages on subjects I am knowledgeable and passionate about, striving to improve historically relevant and topical subjects. While I don’t offer Wikipedia writing as part of my PR services for clients, I previously did some paid editing as a government employee. However I no longer work for the government and currently do no paid editing on Wikipedia.
I understand that when I edit client pages that this could be seen as a conflict of interest. If I do edit a client's page, even if I am not paid to do so, I will disclose the COI on the article's talk page. I appreciate any advice or input on my work from other editors.
