About Me

edit

I live in Bend, Oregon, and I am a frequent user of Wikipedia. I use Wikipedia for mostly random research, searching up things that I wish to gain knowledge about, usually lasting several hours, surfing from article to article. I also edit when I can where I find things that need it, revert vandalism when I come on an article that has been vandalized, and sometimes I will place banners on articles that I do not have the time or patience to fix myself.

Projects on Wikipedia

edit

I currently plan on working in a few areas of expertise to expand articles. I plan on creating articles detailing more about Dungeons and Dragons, and plan on working on many Astronomy related articles. I also plan on taking up the cleaning of some Jazz related articles. Feel free to clean up any edits that you feel I made grammar mistakes on, although I usually am pretty good about the use of the English Language (I love linking things). Current articles that I have created and can remember creating: The Colbert Report (This was back when Colbert Report was just announced as a project by Comedy Central, before it became a massively popular show), Monster Manual III, Hellbound: Hellraiser II, Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth, Hellraiser: Bloodline, Hellraiser: Inferno, Hellraiser: Hellseeker, Hellraiser: Deader, Hellraiser: Hellworld. (Interestingly enough I have not seen one of the Hellraiser movies. I instead stumbled upon the article in my usual research and decided it was in dire need of some reformating)

I am currently continuing to improve my skills on using more complex templates to increase my value to Wikipedia. I feel that I am hopefully appreciated as a good standard user, somone who uses the website regularly and edits where they find mistakes. My main motivation here at Wikipedia is to apply to the vision of Jimmy Wales and help spread free, unbiased knowledge. Many critics come against Wikipedia, some bold enough to vandalize the website, but I believe its purpose and value are too great to be undermined by arguments of bias.
