Go -URL: http://www.myGO.com/myGO/?args

"Go" is the redirection & tracking system of myGO. All Web based referrals (internal or external whichever / whoever needs tracking) should be using this system. There are 2 types of parameters (or arguments aka args).
1. Tracking Arguments
2. Redirection Arguments
Tracking Arguments:
Tracking system tracks visits in Google Analytics and Database. Database tracking system is ONLY meant for transactions and it highly accurate when it comes to revenue sharing.
However, the tracking codes issued should be integrated carefully for this data to be accurate. Tracking systems (both GA as well as DB) are session based so that sales will be flagged as "sales by referral" only for that particular session created during redirection. Session is killed as soon as the user closes the browser.

Parameters (args) description:
1. "ref" -This is the most important argument and is more or less mandatory. It is used in DB tracking as well as GA tracking. In GA it is sent as "utm_source"
2. "uid" -This is second level of grouping after "ref" and is optional. This is ONLY used for DB tracking.
3. "camp" -This is ONLY used for GA tracking and is equivalent to "utm_campaign"
4. "cont" -This is ONLY used for GA tracking and is equivalent to "utm_content"
5. "med" -This is ONLY used for GA tracking and is equivalent to "utm_medium"

Redirection Arguments:
Redirection system is used to redirect the user to a particular section of the website post the tracking codes are implemented. As of now (while writing this document), there are 3 different types of redirections:
• Redirect to "BuyTickets" section
• Redirect to "BookTickets" section
• Redirect to a "URL"

Parameters (args) description:
1. "type" -This is an optional argument and is required ONLY to redirect to "BuyTickets" section. "type=1" means that the user needs to be redirected to "BuyTickets" section of the website. Any other value means that the user is either to be redirected to a "URL" or "BookTickets" section. "BuyTickets" section needs additional arguments ("srid", "eid", "cid", "did", "ety") to display the page. "BookTickets" section needs additional arguments ("cid", "sid") to display the page. These arguments are described below.
2. "url" -This is an optional argument and when specified will simply redirect the user to the specified URL.
3. If the above 2 arguments ("type" & "url") are NOT specified then the user is redirected to the "BookTickets" section.
4. "srid" -This argument contains the Region Code.
5. "eid" -This argument contains the Event Code.
6. "cid" -This argument contains the Cinema / Venue Code.
7. "did" -This argument contains the date code (date formatted as "YYYYMMDD" e.g. "did" for 1st Dec 2009 is "20091201")
8. "ety" -This argument contains the Event Type (e.g.: MT for Movies, PL for Plays, CT for Concerts, SP for Sports, PT for Parties, etc).
9. "sid" -This argument contains the Session Id / Session Code.
10. "ac" - This argument contains the application code which can be used by portal to manage various internal filters.
