'Definition': Peripheral nerve injuries may occur as a result of trauma (Blunt or penetrating) or acute compression. It may result in loss of sensory or motor or both functions
'Pathophysiology': Peripheral nerve injury may result in demyelination axonal sensory, motor or both in the nerve injured. Depending upon the seventy and degree of injury, recovery of function with demyelination and axonal reservation and enervation of function.
