Pass the mic to Sri-Lankan West-Indian Navigator who brings a strong and dynamic rhyme style to the mix, showing his years of experience, with classic 29 taglines that stick in the memory. Change up the flow to Argentinean-English rapper/producer Phonetix who brings the edge, with bold statements that challenge the listener and beat production that reveals his innate musical gifting. The 29 puzzle is made complete with Northern Irish emcee, McGladius, who philosophically questions the listener and challenges the status quo with his unconventional poetic delivery.

'The 29th Chapter Biography
'It was in the heat of a freestyle cipher at a music festival in 1999 where the paths of an Asian-West Indian, an African, an Irish lad and an Argentinean collided to form the motley crew now known as The 29th Chapter. Not quite the stereotypical background story you’d expect from a hip hop crew, no gun shots on estates, no drug deals in kitchens, no stretches in prison, just four talented young guys living ordinary lives. However, what they had in abundance was extraordinary talent, determination and a passion for rocking crowds and making hits. It was only a matter of time before the crew realised they had no other choice but to quit their full time jobs and go all out to chase the dream. The 29th Chapter set course, striving to make ‘real’ music that would move the masses and give them the opportunity to impact and connect with every day people in an authentic way. So whilst making moves in the music industry the crew set up a youth charity aimed at inspiring the dreams and aspirations of young people, helping them achieve their potential through hip hop and the creative arts. They set to work performing, teaching and building relationships with teenagers in schools, youth centres and young offenders’ institutes across London. It is easy enough to stand on a stage in front of thousands of adoring fans, but at 9am on a Monday morning in an assembly full of 1000 year nine students... that is another matter.

In a music industry filled with one hit wonders, superficial thug rap and commercialised copy-cats The 29th chapter distinctly set themselves apart in their sound, their purpose and their individuality. Never afraid to express themselves, The 29th Chapter has built a large, faithful and eclectic fan base through their explosive live performances, artistic integrity, and unwillingness to bend and conform to the latest hip hop trends. Their music see’s them tackling a wide range of themes and issues that examine everything from life and relationships to struggle and hope. Unlike the uniformity and one dimensional make up of most chart-topping groups, The 29th Chapter see’s each member of this unconventional four-piece bringing to the table their own unique presence, style, perspective and wit. Their disarming authenticity coupled with their trademark sound, see’s the 29th Chapter connecting with audiences of all musical tastes and backgrounds across the globe. If the heat omitting from their latest sophomore release ‘Louder’ is anything to go by, then meet hip hop’s bright new hope.

In early 2010 The 29th Chapter will be releasing their first chart single ‘Invincible’ (co-produced by Hanif Williams, Kobalt Publishing), accompanied by a music video shot by pioneering creative duo Doodledo Motion. If the response from live performances of the track is anything to go by then ‘Invincible’ is set to be a smash. The video contains all the explosive 29 ingredients and further showcases the group’s trademark wit and infectious energy. [[1]]
