Hello, I am one of those feared SPA's, because when I do research, I do it thoroughly and specialise on single subject or person over a period of years. My contributions concern a few artists from the end of the 19th Century I happened to do a lot of reading and research about.
My first contribution to Wikipedia was in 2004, when I helped shaping the articles on French sculpture of the 19th Century.. then I took a very long break .. even forgot my old user name (thanks to Wkipedias undestructible version history, I just found it back:-).. and make a new start now, targetting gothic novels..
I was told to be bold and ignore all rules.. and got some good beatings from the "old dogs"... still managed to add some info and straighten out some errors...
