I've been contributing to Wikipedia since the early 2010s, but I've been especially active since around 2019. My primary interest is on topics related to New Zealand, particularly buildings, media, and people, especially subjects relevant in the 21st century and topics related to Canterbury. I also contribute images on the Wikimedia Commons and have a collection of Christchurch building images on my user page there.

In addition to New Zealand subjects, I also sometimes contribute articles on art, media and people of international origin, particularly those which meet notability guidelines but are poorly documented.

My approach is to provide a robust first copy of new articles, replace neglected stubs, or substantially rewrite outdated start-class articles, to a standard consistent with at least a C-class rating where possible. I prefer creating articles to increase the coverage of New Zealand on Wikipedia, and I tend to select subjects wherever my curiosity takes me.
