Horsepower Freaks Inc

History

edit

Horsepower Freaks Inc, a Portland, Oregon based private company, is classified under Automobile Racing Car Equipment.

Heritage and Formation

edit

Chris Bergemann, president of Horsepower Freaks Inc, created the company on January 1st, 2001 [1]. Since its induction, HPF has done remarkably well and was named 268th fastest growing companies in 2007 by Entrepreneur Magazine [2]. The now multi-million dollar company is aimed at producing some of the most powerful and reliable automobiles on the road. Even with the large amount of success, Horsepower Freaks Inc employs only around fifty people [3], which helps to keep their prices low and the customer service far above average.

Products

edit

There are a wide range of aftermarket parts and accessories made by HPF that are available for nearly every major car brand in America. The company specializes in turbochargers [4], which are a form of forced air induction driven by the exhaust gases from the engine. One of their most notable product lines is that of the BMW E46 M3 [5]. HPF offers four stages of performance for the BMW M3, the 3rd and 4th capable of nearly 200mph [6] . Although their focus is on the BMW M3, they offer performance parts for other BMW's like the E92 335i, and for other automakers like Toyota, Nissan, and GM.
