Nationality British Occupation Chairman, A R Metallizing,Silentnight Group Adrian Fawcett is Chairman of A R Metallizing (ARM), Silentnight Group and Advest Capital.[2] He has over 20 years commercial experience in executive and non-executive roles being a multi sector operator across all business sizes, leading and creating FTSE 100 and sector leading businesses from start ups to major plc's. An activist and communicative business leader, using an inclusive style with employees and investor shareholders to optimise business transparency, Adrian has been part of the Board and leadership teams creating some of the most significant sector leading businesses through their most successful periods - including Punch Taverns into FTSE 100, Interbrew into a global number one and the General Healthcare Group into the UK's largest independent healthcare company. As an economist, Adrian has also spent two terms of Government on the board of the Department of Work and Pensions. He is interested in business opportunities arising from dislocations created by sudden changes in regulation or legislation, or as a result of sector financial changes. He has often appeared in the media, such as BBC Radio 4’s Any Questions?[7] and The Bottom Line.[8] He received national media coverage in the UK during the 2010 general election when he criticised a "wall of silence" from the main parties over health policy.
