RESK

Raha Educational Society Kazipet(RESK) is a non-profit and a movement of practical awareness that was founded by Sai Krishna Mora in 2018. To build a growing movement of knowledge, RESK runs a six-month learning program and cutting-edge classes for students from various levels and a one-year fellowship and mentorship program. The Fellowship recruits college graduates and working professionals to serve as full-time mentors for a year to low-income students. The mission of RESK is “To see our nation achieve a level of enlightenment that will bring a smile to every Indian citizen’s face."

The Learning Program is an opportunity for India’s brightest and most promising students to learn the latest technology and the vision of looking at a topic in practical.

The Education System in India

India with around 1 of each 5 students under the age of 15 years, remains at an emphasis point on the capacity to give equivalent freedoms to all youngsters to accomplish brilliant education. More than 50% of students in Class 5 cannot read a Class 2 text or solve a simple subtraction problem. RESK acknowledges that at the base of this crisis in education lies a crisis of organization. RESK's goal is unquestionably to fill this deficiency of activity in preparing students.

History

In 2012, The founder of Raha Educational Society Kazipet Sai Krishna felt compelled to address the issue of deficiency in practical learning and educational inequity at a larger scale. He believed that education is meant to lead life happily, it is not meant to test our life.

In 2017, after a long journey Sai Krishna met Shreya, Managing Director of RESK, and the first step of practical form was ignited.

In 2018, Raha welcomed the first techno seekers as fellows.

In 2020, two years later first techno seekers from the Fellowship and became the first Visionaries in the RESK Alumni movement. The first techno seekers of Alumni then went on to work in several pathways such as mentors, teacher training, leadership trainers, and government policy solving the complex problem of educational equity.

Today, RESK has 50 Fellows working perseveringly to change the lives of students and have become the change-makers. Now, the organization has over 2400 trained students who are actively working towards their vision.

Geographical Reach

Warangal In the year 2018, the first techno seekers of the RESK Fellowship began in Warangal and Kazipet with 15 Fellows. In 2018, they graduated with 20 Fellows and 1600 Students. In the year 2019, RESK Warangal collaborated with Vaagdevi Engineering College for organizing RAHALSIEX event to educate the young minds towards practical knowledge. Nearly 50 Fellows, 300 students are trained. In the year 2020, RESK Warangal collaborated with Ganapathy Engineering College to support Intra Level Sports Event.

Sirpur Town In the year 2019, RESK collaborated with local semi govt schools and organized several events to enrich the idea of practical learning. The recent numbers for 2021 show that 25 Fellows, 80 Students, and 12 Alumni members are in the Mandal.
