Md. Mazidur Rahman Known as Rahman Mazid (Bengali: মো: মাজিদুর রহমান; (05/12/1985) is a Bengali writer, Poems, novelist, playwright and essayist. He is considered to be the first major writer to emerge from the Muslim society of Bengal, and one of the finest prose writers in the Bengali language. Rahman Mazid born in the village of Satpakhia in Khoksha Thana under Kushtia District. He spent his boyhood life at his ancestral Satpakhia under Khoksha thana in district of Kushtia. His date of birth is 05 December 1985. His father name is Md. Abdul Momin is a Muslim aristocrat and the Weaver of the area. His mother Name is Salma Begum.
Rahman Mazid learned Arabic with a teacher at home and then Bengali at a pathshala. He began his formal education at Biharia Govt. Primary School and then studied up to Class V. He was admitted to Shomoshpur Bohu Mukhi Uccha Biddaloy in class six. after six month he leave the school for untold poverty. and then after two years he start to go to a Madrasha Named Husnul Ulum Alim Madrasha at Chalkhoripur. He passed Dakhil and Alim equivalent of SSC and HSC from there. after this he admitted to Brichatra Darus Sunnah Fazil Madrasha an Banibaha in Rajbari District. he completed Fazil equivalent of Degree from here. he also admitted to Khoksha collage in B S S but could not completed because he got chance in Islamic University Kushtia. Honour's & Masters completed from here. Now he served at a Private Bank in Dhaka and settle there. In West kazipara mirpur his permanent live place.
Rahman Mazid is also an editor. He published Art culture and literature based tri month Magazine named "Ahana"
in 2017 Mazid published his 1st poem book named "ka Purush Singha"
