Brother Paul Raj SG is a member of the Montfort Brothers of St. Gabriel, born on 26th January 1962 at Megalathur, Thanjavur Dt of Tamilnadu. He did his primary school studies at his village and moved to Thirukkattupalli for his high school. From there he moved to Palakaurichi to continue his studies at St. James Hr. Sec. School. He has been a Formator and Director of Novices (10 years, a Teacher and Students’ Facilitator, Provincial Councilor, Province of Trichy, India; Director, St. Louis Institute for the Deaf & Blind, Chennai, India; Secretary, St. Louis Degree College for the Hearing Impaired, Chennai, India; Director and Principal, Vidya deep College of Theology, Bangalore, India; International Executive Secretary, Gabrielite Secretariat for Justice, Peace & Integrity of Creation, Rome, Italy; Provincial Superior, Province of Trichy, India; General Assistant, International Leadership Team, Montfort Brothers of St. Gabriel, Rome (From 2012-2018); Member, Think Tank, National Conference of Religious India, New Delhi. Presently he is the Principal, Vidya Deep College, Bangalore, India (2020-).
He is known for a very vast research study ever done in India on the Multi cultural problems that exist among the Catholic priests and religious in Indi. He did his research in the University of Madras, India on “Multicultural Problems and Solutions” in the year 2006 and completed his doctoral studies.
