Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you recently removed some content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Please do not add or change content without citing a reliable source using an inline citation that clearly supports the material. The burden is on the person wishing to keep in the material to meet these requirements, as a necessary (but not always sufficient) condition. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 02:15, 3 March 2017 (UTC)

Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living (or recently deceased) persons, as you did to Ranidu Lankage . Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 10:13, 11 March 2017 (UTC)

editHello. Some of your recent genre changes, such as the one you made to Style (Taylor Swift song), have conflicted with our neutral point of view and verifiability policies. While we invite all users to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, we urge all editors to provide reliable sources for edits made. When others disagree, we recommend you seek consensus for certain edits by discussing the matter on the article's talk page. Thank you. RoCo(talk) 12:20, 6 April 2017 (UTC)
Genre changes
editHello. Please do not change genres and recording years as you've been doing, without adding a proper citation. Also, do not mark the edits as minor unless they are truly minor. Please provide edit summaries while editing articles. Thank you. RoCo(talk) 12:27, 6 April 2017 (UTC)

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Style (Taylor Swift song). Jim1138 (talk) 08:13, 7 April 2017 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that in this edit to Lolly (song), you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Jim1138 (talk) 09:28, 13 April 2017 (UTC)

You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but if you wish to acquire additional privileges, you can simply create a named account. It's free, requires no personal information, and lets you:
- Create new pages and rename pages
- Edit semi-protected pages
- Upload images
- Have your own watchlist, which shows when articles you are interested in have changed
If you edit without using a named account, your IP address (Raptorz12) is used to identify you instead.
I hope that you, as a new Wikipedian, decide to continue contributing to our project: an encyclopedia of human knowledge that anyone can edit. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, or you can to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. We also have an intuitive guide on editing if you're interested. By the way, please make sure to sign and date your talk page comments with four tildes (~~~~).
Please see wp:KDL (Keep Dead Links). You removed factual information from Lolly without adequate explanation. Your addition of genres was unsourced. Per wp:verifiability (WP:V), please wp:cite a wp:reliable source for your additions. Thank you Jim1138 (talk) 09:34, 13 April 2017 (UTC)
Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Lolly, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. Jim1138 (talk) 09:44, 13 April 2017 (UTC)
Your source does not mention the genres you added.
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to change genres without discussion or sources, as you did at Lolly (song), you may be blocked from editing. Jim1138 (talk) 09:52, 13 April 2017 (UTC)

Blocking me for doing nothing wrong.
editYou are using this template in the wrong namespace. Use this template on your talk page instead.
Your block
editThis and your previous block last month was for "persistent addition of unsourced content". See your block log Changing "Weeraratne" to "Weerarathne" would probably qualify as adding unsourced content. You may want to address that in your unblock request.
