Reception
editAnime News Network's Rebecca Silverman positively reviewed the first volume, writing: "Even if you aren't a dance buff, there's a sweetness and believability to this that makes it worth picking up." She liked that Himé was initially "not thin and gorgeous" and that she lost the excess weight through exercise and not in an attempt to become physically attractive. However, she found some pages difficult to interpret and wrote that not all the dance scenes conveyed movement.[9]
