Kenneth Baluwé' is finalist of the Holibi competition Mr Gay Belgium 2020. With his participation, he wants to draw attention to the prejudices of the LGBT community within the care sector.
Kenneth Works as a Volunteer firefighter (last year internship) at Assistance zone Waasland, and as Dispatcher Fire department at Fire zone Center
He's main goal is to provide a positive image about the emergency services, ”he says. “I hope for a fire truck in the rainbow colors during Antwerp Pride this summer. That would be an important picture for society. In the meantime, it is even considered whether other fire brigade zones also want to participate. We must get rid of the cliché image of the gay people. that tough fireman can also be gay.
