Some malware problems with Ubuntu & Firefox?

I'm running Ubuntu 7.10 and Firefox 2.0.0.11 ( Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.11) Gecko/20071204 Ubuntu/7.10 (gutsy) Firefox/2.0.0.11 ) and it looks like I've picked up some malware. When I go to add these changes to Image_scanner about line 94:

A specialized form of document scanning is book scanning. Technical difficulties arise from the books usually being bound and sometimes fragile and irreplaceable, but some manufacturers have developed specialized machinery to deal with this. For instance, Atiz DIY scanner uses a V-shaped cradle and a V-shaped transparent platen to handle brittle books. Often special robotic mechanisms are used to automate the page turning and scanning process.

... it gets bounced by the spam filter:

You may have added it yourself, the link may have been added by another editor before it was blacklisted, or you may be infected by spyware that adds links to wiki pages. You will need to remove all instances of the blacklisted URL before you can save.

Blacklists are maintained both locally and globally. Before proceeding, please review both lists to determine which one (or both) are affecting you. You can request help removing the link, request that the link be removed from the blacklist, or report a possible error on the local or global spam blacklist talk page. If you'd like to request that a specific link be allowed without removing similar links from the blacklist, you can request whitelisting on the local spam whitelist talk page.

The following link has triggered our spam protection filter: http://firewall-pi DOT narod DOT ru Either that exact link, or a portion of it (typically the root domain name) is currently blacklisted.

This is quite worrying, as it looks like malware behaviour to me. The existing link in the article is broken and I'm trying to change it in my edits, but I can't find any way to disinfect firefox. Can anybody help? I'm sorry this isn't really wiki territory but I've not been able to find anything much useful elsewhere. RdeVjun (talk) 04:26, 23 December 2007 (UTC)
