Rhonesha Byng was born in Brooklyn, New York and attended Edward R. Murrow High School. After graduating, she ended DePauw University as a Posse scholar. She founded Her Agenda, an award winning digital media platform aimed bridging the gap between ambition and achievement for millennial young women. In 2019, Her Agenda received over a million views per month and has a social media following of over 36,000 people. In her earlier career, she won an Emmy for breaking news journalism and has also received awards from the Associated Press, the New York Association of Black Journalists, The Kauffman Foundation and Youth Venture. She's been honored by Forbes, NBCBLK, BET and was asked to speak at both the white house and The United State of Women Summit. She's f written for NBC New York, NBC News, The Grio, AOL Black Voices (theBVX), Mass Appeal, and Ebony.com. Currently, she manages Her Agenda, while freelancing for other publications like MadameNoire.com, TheGrio.com, NBCNewYork.com, Mass Appeal, and The Huffington Post. She lives by her motto "N.E.S.H.A," short for No one Ever Slows Her Agenda.
