Danish Renzu (born 11 March 1986) is an Indian film director and screenwriter. He started his career in the movie Half Widow as a director and screenwriter (2017).[1][2]

Early life and career

He moved from Srinagar to Los Angeles in 2005. It was only in 2017 that the electrical engineering grad-turned-filmmaker released his first feature film, Half Widow, detailing a Kashmiri-specific story about a woman searching for her husband in the valley’s painful history of disappeared peoples with the backdrop of the 1999 Kargil War. Renzu's second feature film titled The Illegal(film), starring Suraj Sharma (The Life of Pi) is now steaming on Amazon Prime.
