Currently part of the team responsible for marketing Arm’s IoT solution - more specifically Pelion Device Management - I am a massively experienced career technology professional who can successfully communicate the differentiated value of high-concept high-tech in both early-adopter and mainstream market segments.
Before joining Arm, I was part of the Extreme Networks' product marketing team, responsible for the Ethernet Switching portfolio that was the catalyst for the Avaya Data Networking acquisition. In total, I spent more than 18 contiguous years with the Nortel Networks-Avaya-Extreme Networks series of ventures.
Pre-Nortel, I spent over nine years working for a large Australian retail enterprise as the Network Architect responsible for LAN/MAN technologies, designing and implementing networks that were the lifeblood of a 155,000-person, $20 billion-a-year corporation. Lastly, I commenced my professional life with the Australian Army, serving for more than a decade, and fulfilling a variety of roles in both tactical and strategic data communications and cryptographic environments.
My Wikipedia activity is generally related to expanding and improving entries relating to information technology. Occasionally I will also tweak an entry if I see obvious spelling or grammar errors. I appreicate and support the rule that entries should be objective and unbiased.
