Born “Reymone Keith”, HeightsRome was always drawn to music. Unfortunately, he was drawn to the streets the same way. The excitement and glory that came with the streets lured him in. He was very outspoken and funny but only let you know what he wanted you to know about him. He couldn’t accept being labeled street. While coming with many complications, he strived to be his own person.
In 2018, HeightsRome decided he wanted to pursue a music career. Music was at one point, his only way of expressing how he felt. On the outside you see excitement and joy, but deep inside things are much darker. In his Single “Rags To Rome”, he reflects on the pain and frustration that came with being his own person while trying to live up to his brothers names. Those struggles and experiences created part of his identity. In 2020, HeightsRome had lost his older brother, cousin, and nephew to street violence. While dealing with these deaths, his marriage and personal relationships came into question also. Losing so much so quickly created the person you hear in his recent EP, “Vengeful”. It starts with him venting in his intro, “ Look In My Eyes”, while in the next song “Not Tripping”, he is finally embracing his darker self, creating HeightsRome, the relentless, hyperactive loner who vents and expresses freedom by saying and doing whatever he wants. Planning to explore and expanding into different fields in entertainment and business, there is no end result for him.
