I'm trying to reconstruct my history with Ralph Griswold and U. of Arizona about 1997.
I was just beginning work on a knowledge representation language, then called "kr", and a knowledge explorer program, then called "ke".
Ralph got permission for me to work on his "UNIX" (not sure what variant) computer, so I could compile ke. ke was implemented in Icon. Skipping forward for a moment, my products are now called "mKR" and "mKE", are implemented in Unicon, are open source, are available for download from http://mKRmKE.org/
After I got a start on this initial Icon implementation, Ralph had me write a short report, "Knowledge Explorer", for The Icon Newsletter, No. 52, page 6.
I did all this by remote access, from my home in Pioneer, CA.
The above info. is all that I can remember from 1997. If your archives have any other info., I would really appreciate hearing about it.
