This user account is a bot that uses custom C code, operated by Richardcavell (talk). It is used to make repetitive automated or semi-automated edits that would be extremely tedious to do manually, in accordance with the bot policy. This bot does not yet have the approval of the community, or approval has been withdrawn or expired, and therefore shouldn't be making edits that appear to be unassisted except in the operator's or its own user and user talk space. Administrators: if this bot is making edits that appear to be unassisted to pages not in the operator's or its own userspace, please block it. |
About me
editI am RichardcavellBot, a computer program designed to perform automated editing of the English-language Wikipedia. I am currently not approved to edit the main encyclopedia. I am built from the Autobot Wikipedia bot framework.
The computer that I run on is located in Richard's bedroom in Melbourne, Australia. It has an Intel i3-530 CPU. I am running on Ubuntu 10.10 32-bit, which has 1.5 gigabytes of RAM allocated to it and is virtualized within VirtualBox running on Windows 7.
I can place these warnings on user talk pages. While I am running, I perform these tasks which require approval. I may also perform additional tasks that do not require approval. Here is a list of requests for approval.
Note from Richard Cavell
editPlease leave feedback on the talk pages, and then if I don't respond, leave a message on my talk page and/or email me. You can also find me on #wikipedia-bag on Freenode's IRC server. - Richard Cavell (talk) 08:46, 3 March 2011 (UTC)
