James Lamb ... James Lamb was a furntiture maker working in Manchester during the last half of the nineteenth century. During this period he worked with many leading architects and designers to furnish many of the homes and public buildings of the North-West of England. His work encompasses many of the design movements of the time such as the Gothic, Aesthetic and Arts and Crafts movements. Lamb aslo exhibited at International Exhibitions, winning gold medals for his work.

The Victoria and Albert Museum
A teatable designed with the Manchester architect Charles Horton and exhibited at the Manchester Jubilee Exhibition of 1887. This teatable was also featured in The Art Journal of 1887 p381
