User:Rjungwon/Unitary event

In the context of the cell recording in neuroscience, unitary event (UE) is the coincident spiking activity between cells that can not be viewed as accidental coincidence induced by certain level of firing rate that individual neurons may have.

Unitary events can be identified ... Statistical test (joint p-value, J-surprise)
