General elections were held in the Netherlands Antilles on 8 June 1966.
The 22 seats in the Estates of the Netherlands Antilles consisted of twelve for Curaçao, eight for Aruba, one for Bonaire and one for the SSS Islands.

Aftermath
editIn October 1966 the Jonckheer-Kroon cabinet was formed. Because Jonckheer, Kroon and Isa became ministers they were replaced by Van der Veen, Rozendal and Pijpers. Pieters Kwiers, Van der Hoeven, Lampe and Petronia gave up their seats and were replaced by Abbad, Campman-Zielinski, Geerman and Finck.
