editThe scientific evidence regarding lean carcass mass and offspring production, as seen through “Table 6: Rates of conception in sows artificially inseminated by Australian and Vietnamese boars,”[1]will help to fill in both anatomical and reproductive holes in the article.
This article will be vital to development of my stub in highlighting the significant fact that Yorkshire pigs are also referred to as “Large White”[2] pigs, providing evidence for the use of numerous other academic sources to populate this stub.
This article will benefit both my proposed ‘Impacts on the Asian Market’ and ‘Developments in Carcass production’ sections in confirming the advantageous profits associated with genetically crossbreeding this pig to produce leaner carcasses.[3]
This study, conducted between 1995-2000, explores the ACIAR project’s numerous global impacts to improve pig genetic and nutrition research whilst benefitting productivity, “in particular to produce leaner pork with great production cost-effectiveness.”[4]
This article will particularly benefit my ‘Physical Characteristics’ section by containing factual information regarding the breed’s distinguishable characteristics, for example “the head is moderately long with the face slightly dished.”[5]
