Ronnie Mcvex is a celebrated standup comedian, events emcee, radio and tv presenter, sexual reproductive health and rights activist, voice over artists, events producer and manager and philanthropist. Mr Good News has risen to become a house hold name in the entertainment industry in Uganda. Ronnie Musiimenta was born on 4th November 1989 to Mr Medard Mugabi, a radio presenter, producer and editor at Radio West in Mbarara district and Mrs Rose Mugabi a retired primary school teacher.

Ronnie attended Mbarara Junior school for his primary education, Ntare school for his Ordinary level education and Mbarara High School for his Advanced Level where he studied History, Economics, Geography and Literature in English. He then joined Makerere University for a bachelors degree in Information Technology. And also did a course in multi-media production.

Ronnie set out as a professional standup comic and corporate events Mc in 2013, as a young, energetic and immensely talented soul, he has graced the biggest of stages in East Africa and has worked with some of the big corporate brands in Uganda. In 2015 at the International Youth Day celebrations in Katakwi District, Ronnie Mcvex was recognized and awarded amongst young and influential standup comedians in Uganda. Ronnie Mcvex first graced Ugandan Tv as a host on Urban Tv for a university guild president debate "GUILD DEBATE" He later worked with NTV Uganda as the host for the prize give away segment "NTV @ 8" as Ntv celebrated 8 years in business. He then worked with Pepsi and Airtel on several projects as the official Tv face and host for different campaigns.

Ronnie worked at Magic 100FM before joining 106.1FM-NXT Radio, Uganda's only audio-visual radio station. He hosts the drive show "The Transit" 4-7PM Monday to Friday. He has turned Friday nights into time to catch the light side of weekly trending events with his famous Tv show segment called D.C.I- Directorate of Civil Intelligence.

Ronnie is also a Sexual Reproductive Health and rights Activist and a cultural icon at Reach A Hand Uganda. He has hosted events inline with Sexual Reproductive health and rights with SRHR champions in Uganda and the rest of Africa.
