Long-time user, short-time editor.
Heads up: I have a potential COI at Ars Nova (theater), but please assume good faith on my part--any edits that have come off as trivial or promotional so far have been unintentional. If you see anything that you think is inappropriate, by all means edit/mention it. I follow both my own talk page and the article's page (both talk and regular), so I'm quite happy to learn as I go, and while I may ask for clarification, I've only rarely argued against it if someone makes a change to the page. No need to ask me for permission, but please let me know if it's something substantial, if nothing else than so I can learn a bit more about rules and policy. I've read most of the articles on the subject, but it seems like there's a lot of nuance.
I'm relatively slow to edit other pages, as I don't consider myself an expert on much. My interests (broadly speaking) are theater (especially New York theater), some of New Jersey, some literature, creative writing, and certain music artists (while it may seem from my username that I have a COI at Vertical Horizon, I can assure you honestly that I have no professional affiliation with the band, and any edits I'd post there would come from a fan perspective only, and will most likely be minor and for accuracy purposes only, at best).
In my non-Wikipedia life, I'm mostly a playwright, and samples of my work can be found at my website, available by private message upon request (it includes my real name). Feel free to let me know if you're interested in reading anything.
Oh, and I watch the Teahouse, ANI, and some talk pages for fun. :-p
Let me know if you have any other questions!
