Biography

edit

Todd and his wife, Linda, have lived in the Akron area for over 17 years. They have four children; the oldest is at Firestone High School, and the younger 3 are home educated.[citation needed]

Todd is actively involved in family life and community. He has volunteered as a coach for a high school boys’ basketball team for the past three years and teaches two dynamic high school history classes (World History from 1600 to present day and American History). Students from his American History class were national finalist for the 2008 National History Day Competition. Todd gets great satisfaction at seeing his players and students reach beyond their own expectations and achieve their full potential in sports and academics.

Currently, he serves as chairman of the board for two non-profit organizations, the Ohio Valley Region CSB Ministries, Inc. and the Christian Home Educators’ Co-op.[citation needed] Additionally, he serves on the board of Stony Glen Camp.[citation needed] He is actively involved as a leader in The Chapel’s Brigade program, a group focused on ministering to fathers, young men, and boys.

Todd has worked in all three sectors of the economy- public, private, and not-for-profit. He has always striven to be fiscally responsible, striving to bring projects under budget and on-time without compromising quality. At present, he is the Information Technology Manager for The Chapel. His responsibilities include maintaining the vast computer systems that connect two campuses and a camp and investigating new technologies that can help The Chapel staff to better minister and serve the community.
