editI believe I've discovered something very useful. Say you want to make a nice looking math equation. Well wiki has a built in function to do this (duh). But what if you want use the equation somewhere else?? Then just make your equation in wiki and then save the image either by publishing it privately (say in your user page) or by previewing it on a standard page!!
Ok here I go. I need a stats equation which involves a sum. So I'll start with this equation I found, (I don't know the exact syntax yet).
This code is simply "\sum_{i=m}^n x_i = x_m + x_{m+1} + x_{m+2} +\cdots+ x_{n-1} + x_n." Now for my desired function:
this code is simply "P = \sum_{i=0}^{n-m} \frac {n!}{i!- (n-i)!} (1 - \phi)^i \phi^{n - i}"
