Master mutant list
editNot only did you wipe out a master mutant list, but a chronology and trivia section based on specific issues of the X-Men comics. The intent of Wikipedia is to allow multiple users to make editions to established articles. What is the intent here, collaboration or eradication and sole control? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Huntn (talk • contribs) 21:31, 3 May 2009 (UTC)
- I assume you are the author of this article. I read the section on trivia and although I called it "trivia" what I included are significant facts associated with specific episodes. I get it, you don't want encyclopedic listing in your article. That's more or less what I want to present. If this is allowed at Wikipedia, I plan on authoring a separate page where I won't have to worry about wholesale eradication of my inputs. Is it allowed in general, or just not in your article? Thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Huntn (talk • contribs) 22:02, 3 May 2009 (UTC)
Re: Danielle Moonstar
editRe: Danielle Moonstar; the same was done on several other New Mutants characters articles. 204.153.84.10 (talk) 17:21, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
- Danke. :) I wasn't sure whether those passages should be restored, or how it should be done, but your solution works for me. 204.153.84.10 (talk) 22:26, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
Klara
editMy friend, I doubt not your impressive knowledge of the comic issues, as you claim it is considerable. However, I would never edit something unless I was sure it was true; my edits have been deemed to be excessive or uncited in the past, yet never false. It is indeed true no issue thus far has mentioned such a fact. However, the Official Handbook files, at the back of the Secret Invasion book comprised of all three issues, state it so, if you read carefully. And what other explanation, could there be, in Marvel continuity? She uses no exotic science, no occultism, no alien or chemical or extradimensional power source, and a mutant is the only explanation. I urge to reconsider this issue, for I am absolutely certain she is indeed a mutant. I hope you do not deem this matter to be one meriting that of a protection for the page, yet it seems I have understood you less than I have thought. She is a mutant, the Invasion book clearly states it, and there is nothing contradicting it. Aidoflight (talk) 00:00, 9 May 2009 (UTC)
- Your most recent message implies that I have resorted to hipocrisy and deception to justify such an edit; however, I fear I must beg to differ: it is from Secret Invasion #1-3, the book with all 3 combined covers, with the white Handbook files with ratings and graphs in the back. I fear I cannot be more clear in my explanation. My thanks for considering. Aidoflight (talk) 00:02, 9 May 2009 (UTC)
- Yet many would, those who purchased this book. Is it not a clear edit, a sufficient source? For the title of the work of comic literature that stated such information is indeed thus, including the files as only an extra section at the back. Aidoflight (talk) 00:06, 9 May 2009 (UTC)
- Though I am saddened by your invalid interpretation of my comments, I will, in curiosity, ask this: though you claim you possess not this collection, you also have claimed of reading all the issues, did you not? Why would you think such a thing of me? Aidoflight (talk) 00:20, 9 May 2009 (UTC)
- My apologies, once again, if you have taken offense. However, let us argue no further over the Klara article, as all has been resolved now, my friend. Thank you. Aidoflight (talk) 00:25, 9 May 2009 (UTC)
- Well, um, all right, thanks. Aidoflight (talk) 00:29, 9 May 2009 (UTC)
It's okay, looking back, it was really stupid to ask in the first place. Well, thanks. Aidoflight (talk) 22:01, 26 May 2009 (UTC)

Rollback
editI have 20 granted rollback rights to your account; the reason for this is that after a review of some of your contributions, I believe I can trust you to use rollback correctly by using it for its intended usage of reverting vandalism, and that you will not abuse it by reverting good-faith edits or to revert-war. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback and Wikipedia:Rollback feature. If you do not want rollback, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Good luck and thanks. –Juliancolton | Talk 01:51, 25 May 2009 (UTC)

Xavin
editTricky one. If we don't know it is best to go with the writer and the artist who first drew them (it'd be worth flagging the grey area in the PH though, as long as we keep it out of the realm of OR, which can be tricky).
Usually if one artist creates a character design that another uses someone tries to clarify the issue somewhere. The example I'm thinking of both involve Brendan McCarthy providing the designs for Zenith (comics) and Skrull Kill Krew both written by Grant Morrison and drawn by Steve Yeowell. It seems the done thing to still give the series artist a creator credit as they are still responsible for bringing the characters to life on the page (which is a whole different job to running off character designs). As there is a story behind this it will usually come up somewhere in an interview so you can source it, otherwise default to first writer/artist. (Emperor (talk) 22:06, 27 May 2009 (UTC))
