Rupert Timothy Alan Dover (born 1967) is a British-born chief superintendent with the Hong Kong Police Force.
Career
editDover joined the former Royal Hong Kong Police in 1988 and stayed on after the end of the British Administration.[1] In 2014 he helped police the Occupy Central protests in the territory.[2] In 2016, he received the Chief Executive's Commendation for Government/Public Service.[3][4] In 2019 he commanded the police response to protests about a proposed extradition law.[5]
