The Southampton Cup is an upcoming unisex association football youth cup tournament. The competition, which was established in 2016 by Southampton F.C., is scheduled to run for eight days, from 5 to 13 August 2017, open to both professional academy teams (Academy Section) and non-elite teams (Premier Section). Some of the fixtures will be contested at the club's training ground Staplewood Campus. The tournament will feature boys' and girls' teams from countries such as; Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Croatia, Algeria, Canada and Switzerland.[1] Initially four clubs signed up to the competition; Southampton, RC Deportivo de La Coruña, GNK Dinamo Zagreb and R.S.C.
