Institutionalized Vol. 2 is a 2008 album by American rapper Ras Kass released on indie label Babygrande. It is the sequel to his 2005 album Institutionalized Vol. 1.
Ras Kass is currently incarcerated due to violating his probation [1] and was in jail during the production and release of this album. The last 2 tracks only feature fellow rapper NameBrand with no appearance from Ras Kass.
The lyrics have been praised by critics but the album has received bad reviews due to the production which has been called "painfully recycled and dull" and not suited to Ras Kass' style. [2]
