Wake Young Men's Leadership Academy, commonly abbreviated to WYMLA is an all-boys school in Raleigh, North Carolina that teaches grades Sixth through Thirteenth.[1] Grades 11-13 take classes at the nearby St. Augustine's University due to a partnership between the two schools.
History
editThe Wake Young Men's Leadership Academy was established in 2013 at the former site of the A. A. Thompson School, which was disestablished in 1971 due to low enrollment. The building was renovated in 1986 to become a community service center.[2]
