Kumai Tea Garden is belong to Kalimpong subdivision, Darjeeling, West Bengal, India. During 1960's, the Company Government planted the first tea bushes from No.1 Line of present Kumai. Snowview Pvt. Ltd is the owner of Kumai tea garden. Since 2007 Kumai tea garden converted into organic tea production and became a pure organic tea plantation.It is believes that the word Kumai is the name of brahmin sub- caste, who first settled permanently in these areas.
