This is the state I think about living in the future

New York One of the states of the United States of America is located in the northeastern United States of America on the Atlantic Ocean with its capital Albany. It is the 27th in terms of area, the third in terms of population, and the seventh in terms of population density at the level of the United States (50 states). New York borders the South, Louisiana, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, the states of Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Vermont from the east. The state also has a maritime border with Rhode Island east of Long Island, as well as international borders with Canada's Ontario Province in the west and north, and Quebec in the north. New York is often referred to as New York State to distinguish it from New York City. New York City, with a population of over 8,100,000, is the most populous city in the United States. It alone accounts for more than 40 percent of New Yorkers. It is known for its status as an economic and cultural center and its status as the largest immigration gateway to the United States. According to the US Department of Commerce, New York City is also a favorite destination for foreign visitors from many countries. Both the state and the city were named after the Duke of York in the 17th century, James Stewart, and later James II and VII, King of England and Scotland.. New York was inhabited by different tribes of Algonquin and Eroquin, who spoke indigenous language at the time of Dutch settlers who moved to the area in the early 17th century. In 1609, Henry Hudson first called the region for Dutch. In 1614, Fort Nassau was built near the present-day capital city of Albany. Also close to this, the Dutch colonized New Amsterdam and parts of the Hudson River Valley, and created the new colony of the Netherlands. The British colonists then took them to their lands in 1664. The borders of the British colony of New York County were almost identical to the limits of state at present. About one-third of the battles of the Revolutionary War took place in New York. The state constitution was passed in 1777. New York became the eleventh state to ratify the United States Constitution on 26 July 1788.
