Hank & Cupcakes are a drum and bass duo from Brooklyn, New York. The band consists of Hank (bass) and Cupcakes (lead vocals, drums). The couple moved to Brooklyn from Israel nearly two years ago, when they decided to break into America's music scene. The pair recently released their brand new self-titled EP, which includes "Ain't No Love," "Pleasure Town," "Roses," and a cover of Joy Division's song, "She's Lost Control." The New York Post calls the EP a "funky fresh sound." ^[1] Hank describes the band's sound as experimental minimalist pop, where they try to "create pop music without have a pop sound." ^[2]
