Gulam Subhany Choudhury
Gulam Subhany Choudhury was an Indian Politician and Zamindar from Badarpur Constituency,Assam,India. He was born on 1st January,1929.He was an prominent leader of Indian National Congress.He was also elected Member of Legislative Assembly from Badarpur Constituency in the year 1983 from the Indian National Congress. He is the founder of the first and the one and only government college of Badarpur Constituency named Nabinchandra College. He also laid the foundation stone of Srigouri Hospital. He also brought Circle Office and Treasury Office in Badarpur.Many poor youths were benefitted by giving them jobs in various departments of government. He died on 16th June,1999.
