Youngraad Set in Nasik, also known as the “Varanasi” of the South, YoungRaadchronicles the life of four youngsters. Inseparable friends since childhood, they would do everything together – mischief or not. Soon they come under the influence of a goon-turned-politician, who sees them as potential aides in carrying out his illegal activities under the garb of social work. The young friends soon find themselves in a soup and together with their families try to come out of the horrible mess. Youth, in all its rebellious exuberance, wants to break free of the traditional restrictions. How can we ensure that the rebels do not step in the wrong path? Every one of us has to fight this battle between good and evil within and without.
Youngraad [1] [2] is first marathi film of Phantom Films and directed by National Award winner director Makarand Mane.
