As of 2018, I have over 15 years' experience in the BPO, ITES, BPaaS industry. I have keen interest in this industry and am especially interested in some of the newer developments such as robotic automation, self-learning and evolving applications, and newer AI-based architectures which are slowly but surely changing this space.
I am not directly affiliated with any specific organization in this industry, although I do declare that I occasionally take up consulting work on contract, but is not my primary source of livelihood. I believe I can be a neutral and unbiased author without letting my professional engagements unduly influence me. It would be quite hard to find an expert in this niche field who does not have some professional ties to the industry. If one has invested years of their life in a niche industry to gain expertise in it, one would most likely also be earning out of it.
I am not a journalist. I intend to contribute information about specific companies in this ecosystem, as well as about specific applications and innovation deployed by these companies. I mostly intend to write about things that I have personally experienced in action - either in a front-end client/customer environment or in the nerdy middle/back-end side of the business. My interests extend to debunking of fake news with supporting facts, and highlighting misleading public statements especially by influential public figures who it seems are increasingly using their influence to mislead and obfuscate verifiable facts with their personal opinions and proximities.
I intend to remain an anonymous wiki user so that I can contribute in a free and unbiased manner.
I currently am a complete wiki newbie - so I hope to learn as I go. And I'm hoping the Wikipedia server won't crash when I hit that publish button :O
