As a writer, I use Wikipedia daily. I don't think I've ever found a mistake, but sometimes I find missing information - or people who don't have a page. I'm both a novelist and a screenwriter, but in a former life, I owned a software company and was a programmer, so I like learning how to be a Wikipedia editor, especially since there are people to help me.
I like to write thrillers, horror, sci-fi, and fantasy. My middle-grade fantasy novel Sleep Warrior is #3 on the Red List at Coverfly, and my father/daughter drama based in Las Vegas, Last Hand, is in the top 3% of Coverfly. I have over 20 award-winning projects on Coverfly. I have an animated musical SciFi, being produced by BlackOrb.com, titled Runaway Cricket, about a homeless runaway befriended by an alien who is also far from home. I've written six TV pilots, and I've been a finalist in Nicholl's and Austin Film Festival with 5 different feature films and wrote two TV pilots as part of my 2023 Native American Fellowships, which I won twice in 2023. During my Native American Fellowship, I set up a Google Drive for all the cohorts to upload their scripts and notes. My instructor said that if we were in a writer's room - he'd get me a raise for all the technical help I give with files and Zoom. I love to be helpful. In a writer's room, I'd probably be the only one who could teach a yoga class, do your taxes, fix your computer, and coach your soccer team - but I love to write!
